Service Description

Touch for Health Level 1 and 2 cover the Syllabus established by the International Kinesiology College. *No pre-requisite required to take TFH Level 1 The Touch for Health Complete Edition textbook will be provided. Touch for Health Level 1 is for laypeople and health professionals. You will learn the art of muscle testing and the basic procedure to balance the body’s muscles and acupuncture meridians as presented in Dr. John Thie’s book, Touch for Health. In addition to an introduction to TFH and background information testing the 14 primary muscles, pretests are correction methods are reviewed. Applications of TFH 1 will be reviewed including Auricular Exercise, Visual Inhibition, Cross Crawl, Emotional Stress Release, Surrogate Testing and Simple Pain Techniques. *This is not a complete list of the information to be covered as outlined in the syllabus. Many opportunities are provided to both view demonstrations of new concepts and practice them with a partner. By the end of Level 1 you will be able to provide a 14 muscle fix as you go balance. --- Touch for Health Level 2 builds on the skills taught in level 1. Learn 14 new muscle tests and additional corrections especially helpful for back pain, strengthening the core muscles, assessing the legs and neck. The new techniques and concepts presented in Touch For Health Level 2 are: Circuit Locating Alarm Points for over-energy detection The Meridian Wheel and Time of Day Balance Five Elements theory Three self-balancing techniques Additional pain control skills and short cuts to improve efficiency Professional continuing education credit (CEU) contact hours are available for Massage Therapists, Acupuncturists and Athletic Trainers. Other professionals may qualify for credit. All students are responsible for verifying with their state board to determine if Touch for Health certification from the International Kinesiology College will be accepted.
